Fundraising for the NSPCC

SPAR and the NSPCC are working together to keep children safe in every community around our stores. 

Since 2006 SPAR store employees and SPAR regional distribution centres across the UK have raised more than £5 million for NSPCC services through a variety of fundraising initiatives.

Recent fundraising activities across the Meridian & Welsh Guild have included raffles, sponsored bike rides, fancy dress days and coffee mornings to name but a few.
 

Supporting Local Good Causes

Retailers across the Meridian & Welsh Guild are also committed to hundreds of local good causes at the heart of the communities they serve.

To recognise this fact, A.F. Blakemore’s charitable trust, the Blakemore Foundation, operates a match-funding scheme especially for independent retailers.
