GroceryAid Week: Get Involved

August 26, 2022

GroceryAid

After the success of last year’s GroceryAid Awareness Day, the whole of A.F. Blakemore’s estate will be hosting GroceryAid Week from Monday 5th September to Sunday 11th September.

GroceryAid is a national charity supporting colleagues working across all areas of the grocery industry, as well as their partners, spouses and dependants. All A.F. Blakemore colleagues can access their free, confidential welfare support services.

The business is aiming to raise as much money as possible during the week, so every team and department is encouraged to take part in a fundraiser.

Why not come up with your own idea or organise one of the following?

  • A coffee morning
  • A raffle
  • A ‘Wear Rainbow Colours Day’
  • A rainbow bake off
  • A fun run, step count or fitness challenge

It is time for some friendly competition with colleagues from across all parts of the business. The team that raises the most money and the team that has the most innovative fundraising idea will win a personalised colourful trophy to keep.

So, why not start planning now? Get the team together and decide on a fundraising activity for the week.

Be sure to send all your colourful photos from any events to RBP@afblakemore.co.uk. The team can’t wait to see them!

Please donate any money raised for GroceryAid via A.F. Blakemore’s JustGiving page: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/AFBGroceryAidWeek2022

Don’t forget to log your fundraising hours after you have completed your fundraiser by clicking on the button on AFB’s corporate landing page or using the following link: forms.office.com/r/YvzCJrJrSy
