177 Colleagues Receive Free Flu Vaccination

A total of 177 A.F. Blakemore colleagues have taken up the company’s offer of a free flu vaccination this month.

Flu vaccination clinics were held at Willenhall, Talbot Green and James Bridge on 11th, 15th and 18th October respectively, with employees within the local areas invited to attend.

Group Health & Safety Manager Paul Sanders commented: “Participation is up 9% on the previous year, with increases shown across all three sites.

“A special mention goes to Willenhall, which produced a 7% increase on last year and also managed to beat the previous highest total for this site, which was recorded in 2016.

“Thank you to everybody who helped promote the clinics amongst their colleagues and work teams, or otherwise supported the clinics by attending on the day.

“Particular thanks to Ryan Ware at Talbot Green and Neill Freeman at James Bridge, both of whom made sure that everything ran smoothly on the day.

A total of 95 colleagues received a vaccination at Willenhall, 49 at Talbot Green and 33 at James Bridge.
