SPARaoke Winner Announced

This summer, we have truly hit a high note with ourinnovative SPARaoke competition, transforming everyday shopping experiences into moments of musical magic. A local Maedry woman was announced as the grand winner of the draw that gave her a month’s shopping basket for free!

SPAR’s innovative SPARaoke campaign invited customers to unleash their singing talent and have a little bit of fun while shopping at their stores. Customers had to listen to a beloved sports anthem on SPAR radio, seize the microphone, and sing their hearts out, for the chance to win their basket for free and to enter a prize draw to win a month’s groceries

Gaynor Blanley, a dedicated SPAR shopper at her local Maedry store, was the winner of the nation’s first convenience stores karaoke competition. Gaynor has been a loyal SPAR customer for a number of years, with her local Maedry convenience store catering to her every need. She was pleasantly surprised and said:

“I was nervous about singing in the store and I couldn’t believe I won. But I took a chance, and I’m still a bit shocked to have won £559 . It's not what I expected, but it’s a nice surprise."

SPAR's initiative has brought an element of fun to convenience store shopping over the Summer and has created a sense of giving back to our local communities. It's a reminder that sometimes, the most extraordinary moments come from the most ordinary places and that is what we are trying to create at our stores this Summer!

The thrilling Summer of sports is not over yet! SPAR has a new campaign bringing fun at your doorstep until the 28^th of August. SCAN-MATCH-WIN aims to allow customers to have fun while shopping with us! Shoppers simply need to scan the QR code in their local SPAR store or visit the dedicated website at SPAR-CHAMPIONS.co.uk. Customers can also enter to win a weekly cash prize of £1,000.
