Blakemore Wholesale Distribution has launched a new web app for customers to improve their online shopping experience.

The progressive web app, which went live on 15th March, has replaced the company’s pre-existing online ordering website and native app, combining the best of both in one solution.

Designed to work on both desktop and mobile devices, the platform offers customers a whole host of benefits.

As a result of machine learning and artificial intelligence, users can now enjoy a better search and browsing experience. Products can be found by name, code or SKU.

A product information database feeds into the app to help offer better-quality product information.

The app also has improved navigation and makes it easier for customers to build a basket. It offers order tracking, a profit-on-return calculator and support with promotions and planograms.
