Blakemore Logistics LGV Transport Apprenticeship

Our Logistics LGV Transport apprenticeship programme is based out on the open road, getting vital goods to SPAR stores across the country.

If you’re good behind the wheel, with great time-keeping and a strong drive to succeed, then this could be the role for you. 

Key skills you’ll cover include:

• How to prepare a vehicle for driving
• How to drive an LGV vehicle on public roads efficiently
• Route planning and timings for the collection and delivery of loads
• How to maintain health and safety and handle goods in logistics operations 

To be eligible for the programme, you must have held a full clean UK car driving licence for at least one year and be 18 or over.

GCSEs in Maths and English at grades A* to D (9-4) are desirable. 

You can normally expect to complete the apprenticeship within 18 months.

All successful apprentices are given the opportunity to join the company permanently once they have completed their qualification.

The business is currently recruiting for LGV Transport apprentices at its Willenhall depot in the West Midlands.
