Alana Spencer launches Ridiculously Rich at SPAR Pwllheli

The winner of 2016's The Apprentice, Alana Spencer, officially launched her delicious range of cakes at independent retailer Conrad Davies’ SPAR Pwllheli.

Ridiculously Rich by Alana hit the headlines after Spencer was chosen by Lord Alan Sugar to be his business partner on The Apprentice.

The cake and brownies business owner has launched her first self-serve unit containing her products in SPAR Pwllheli.

Conrad said: “We’ve been selling these products since September 2017 and they have been fantastic sellers for us.

“They include Belgian chocolate rocky road, sticky toffee flapjack and chocolate brownies, and we’re now delighted to have developed these display units which don the images of Alana and Lord Sugar.

"It’s a very professional way to launch them as a retail offer. Alana is looking for premium retailers to work with and I’m delighted that A.F. Blakemore and SPAR are the first in line to receive the initial 30 units.”

Alana said: “I am really excited to have launched our first ever retail unit with SPAR Pwllheli. We have been working with them for 18 months and the cakes have always sold really well.

"The unit fits perfectly in their premium store and I can’t wait to see sales increase with this unit.

"It was a joint effort to bring this display to life, the SPAR team have been so supportive.”

Lord Sugar has also showed his support for the launch by tweeting an image of the self-serve unit wishing his protégé good luck.

The unit was designed by Alana Spencer and Blakemore Design & Shopfitting.
