Four employees from Blakemore Wholesale, Middlesbrough took part in a 5K Colour Race in aid of Teesside Hospice.

Blakemore Wholesale employees took part in the ‘5km Colour Run’ at Stewarts Park, Middlesbrough on 17th September 2017.

The team were splattered head to toe in a rainbow of environmentally friendly powder paints to raise £564 for the good cause, including a £200 match fund grant from A.F. Blakemore’s charitable trust, the Blakemore Foundation.

It is hoped that the funds will go towards the specialist palliative care offered at Teesside Hospice.

Community Affairs Officer Kate Senter said: “We’d like to congratulate the ladies for making it their mission to support another worthy good cause like Teesside Hospice.

"The team at Blakemore Wholesale Middlesbrough pride themselves in supporting their local community and year on year manage to extend their efforts to even more challenges. Well done to all involved."
