Blakemore Logistics chilled warehouse

Our two refrigerated warehouses are located at the Willenhall site.

The frozen warehouse occupies 11,000 sq. ft and is operated at -25˚C. It holds 500 lines and despatches in excess of 17,000 cases per week.

The chilled warehouse is 45,000 sq. ft in size and has various temperature controlled rooms, with temperatures ranging from 0˚C to 14˚C. The main part of the warehouse facility has a constant temperature of 4˚C and stocks 1,500 products including fresh milk, meat and dairy products.

The warehouse despatches in excess of 350,000 cases per week. The premises was purpose built in 1999 but has been extended and modified numerous times to support the continued growth of the fresh business. Between the years 2003 and 2008 the chilled business grew on average more than 10% year on year.

The chilled and frozen warehouses employ over 120 people and operate seven days a week, only closing on Christmas and New Year's Day.
