Health & Safety Policy
The management of A F Blakemore and Son Limited; incorporating all areas of the business and subsidiary companies, regard the promotion of health and safety measures as an absolute requirement for management and employees at all levels.
A F Blakemore and Son Limited (the Company) is, through all levels committed to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that:
- All employees are safeguarded fully in respect of health, safety and welfare while at work
- Customers and members of the public who might be affected by our activities are not exposed to any unacceptable health and safety risks
It is the Company Policy to:
- Provide plant and systems of work that are safe and without risk to health
- Arrange for the safe use, handling, storage and transport of articles and
substances inherently or potentially dangerous - Provide comprehensive information, instruction, training and supervision,
with the object of ensuring so far as is reasonably practical, the health,
safety and welfare of all employees - Maintain the workplace in a safe condition and provide safe means of
access to and egress from the workplace - Provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment with
adequate welfare facilities and arrangement.
